Dear SWT® Supporters!

June 1st marks the day we began this journey on the road to the Squeaky Wheel® Tour. We have so many things to do to prepare to create as much noise and SQUEAK as loud as possible...but the main focus currently is to raise $150,000.00 so we can make the tour happen. We are asking everyone we meet for $1. In these economic challenging times asking for donations is painful. Sometimes I feel people are hoping we would give them a donation. I so understand that one. Asking for $1. per person to help put SWT® on the road creates a project that ANYONE can get involved in and be part of the solution. If anyone has any ideas or would like to join us in our quest to ask 150,000 people for $1. please let me know. We want to use this blog to help us reach our goal and also to chart our success. June 7, 2009 Tim Sweeney's Music Strategies Conference: Jannel spoke... Donations from artists after asking for $1 per person: $337. collected Approx: 40-50 people in attendance.

June 9, 2009 Auslich Ski Club Dinner: Clementine played. Approx 20 people in attendance: $130. collected


June 12, 2009 Lake View Cafe: Clementine played. Approx 30 people in attendance: $269collected.

We welcome and ideas or suggestions. As you can see we have a long way to go, but asking for $1 seems to be working.

FYI: Lake View Cafe has a water bottle with information about GINA and SWT and is asking $1. per person that frequents their establishment. We honor their support. We are lining up other restaurants, beauty salons, schools and churches to help us create collection hubs.

If everybody does a little bit to help together we can create a huge difference.
